The first thing people often say when they enter our place and see our food display cases is, “WOW!” WOW and Fika go together.

You may wonder, what is Fika? Well, Fika is a Swedish term that means “to have a coffee break” when used as a verb. But when it is used as a noun it means so much more than that–it refers to a break in one’s day, a time to sit back, relax, and drink  in life’s wonderful aromas such as soothing beverages or invigorating delacies.  Welcome to Wow Fika, a sensational new cafe concept. The originators want to bring you some of the greatest delicacies from Europe and let you experience them in an atmosphere of rest, recuperation and fellowship.

A fika can consist of coffee or another beverage along with a pastry, ice cream, light meal or a dessert. In Sweden, fika is culturally embedded into everyday life; its that little break, often several times a day that everyone looks forward to. Come and join us for a fika and get ready to try something new!

The Ambiance

Welcome to an atmosphere where you can come alone to relax or with friends to have fellowship and at the same time experience a slice of Europe in Wintergarden, Orlando.

There will be soothing instrumental music that brings rest to the soul. Candles shimmering on the tables and shelves with magazines for those who wish to take a moment to relax and read something interesting. Have a seat on hand-made European furniture and get ready for a rich taste experience, whether you want a healthy salad, delicious pastry or feast on the delicacies of Europe.

At WOW Fika, we also have a miniature cafe in a children’s corner where the kids can play while the parents can have a moment to relax or enjoy a conversation. The children’s corner is designed to be fun for the kids yet without becoming a disturbance for the other guests.
